GCDA currently facilitate a cookery club for up to 8-10 service users of the 999Club to prepare and cook healthy, nutritious lunch for up 30-35 services users each Friday. The 999 Club provide a warm and welcoming environment to anyone who is homeless. They equip people with the ability and confidence to learn new skills and reconnect with family and friends. Those users that help prepare food at 5 consecutive sessions receive a certificate and a £10 voucher. Some of the service users involved have also gone on to gain a level 1 & 2 Food Hygiene Certificates.
